“When I hear music, I fear no danger. I am invulnerable. I see no foe.
I am related to the earliest times, and to the latest.”
Henry David Thoreau

Experiencing the voice or instrumentation of a musician or the movement of a finely tuned body as it interprets the music or actors on stage, all have the ability to transport your senses.

No matter how you slice it, performing is one of the most naturally exciting, exhilarating and enlivening experiences.  You’ve heard opera, and you’ve heard rock—but you’ve never heard opera rocked like The East Village Opera Company.
