Dear Friends of Food For The Soul™
In a few days, Mustard Seed Communities is holding its 21st Annual Benefit Luncheon on September 25, 2011 at the New York Hilton Hotel and, like many charitable organizations these days, this organization needs your help more than ever.
Mustard Seed Communities (MSC) is a nonprofit organization that began in 1978 as a home for children with disabilities who had been abandoned or orphaned to the streets of Jamaica. Now over 30 years after its founding, MSC cares for over 600 children in 14 communities, throughout Jamaica, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Zimbabwe and strives to meet the growing needs of the most vulnerable members of our society by improving the economic, social and spiritual conditions of the communities we serve. Our aim is to make a difference in the lives of children who were abandoned, children that have disabilities, children with HIV/AIDS, teens that are pregnant and alone, and others. Check out the website for greater detail on MSC’s work and efforts to help vulnerable children and their families.
I invite you to support their work and efforts to help vulnerable children and their families. To do this simply go to Mustard Seed’s website to purchase tickets or make a donation. Your contribution will make all the difference in the world!
With gratitude, Donna Marie
