A way to block the flow of creativity and not be open to spirit is not to have the willingness to forgive.  Forgiveness is the key to freedom.  Lack of forgiveness often locks the door to all-good.  No matter how much we desire to receive all-good, no matter how committed we are to living on purpose, we cannot fully do any of this if we are not willing to forgive.

Forgiveness can be a difficult practice to cultivate.  However, it is of the utmost importance.  It is important to understand that forgiveness does not mean that we like or even agree with what happened.  Forgiveness means that we accept what happened.  Forgiveness is continuously letting go of past hurts and resentments.  Forgiveness necessitates that we not be resistant or attached to anything.  It is about trusting the divine within to guide and direct us to the greatest-yet-to-be.

Forgiveness is a practice that will work wonders.  We may find it easier to forgive others and not forgive ourselves.  But since we are all one, if we cannot forgive ourselves, how is it that we can truly forgive others?  Forgiving others, however, can be the first step to forgiving ourselves.

Please keep in mind: Self-forgiveness is just as important as forgiving others.  Be willing to forgive.  Be willing to be free.
