AIDS-Walk

Please lend your support by going to my team page, joining the Soul Posse and/or making a donation!

Thank you!

My first AIDS Walk was in the late 80’s, early 90’s when my dearest friend was diagnosed with the virus. For several years we walked for the cure; in the end it was difficult for him but we walked anyway, slowly, but we did it. When he died, it took me a few years before I walked again.  Here’s more about Rusty and me in a feature posted on the AWNY website.

On Sunday, 18th May 2014 I plan to walk in memory of my friend, Rusty Montalvo. I invite you to join in and participate on behalf of family members, friends, friends of friends, or colleagues who are living with, or may have died as a result of the AIDS virus.

For anyone, in other cities, interested in participating, here are the approximate dates of events in your city.

If you choose to walk … great! If not, go to  my team page and support me in raising money for this cause.  And, encourage your friends to donate too!

Thanks for your anticipated support!

After participating in the way you want to, be sure to let us know what the experience was like for you by commenting in the box below.
